Majors Teunis T. Scholtens a Hendrika Scholtens-Stuurop left their home corps in Zwolle in 1980, for The William Booth Training College in Amstelveen.
Their session was called ‘God’s messengers’ and they trained with 14 other cadets for the two years needed to become Salvation Army officers.
