Milí přátelé a kolegové ze všech oblastí práce Armády spásy,
Nejprve vám žehnáme pozdravem z Bible: „Milost vám a pokoj od Boha Otce našeho a Pána Ježíše Krista.“ (Fil. 1:2)
Je to silný, hluboký a mocný pozdrav, který v těchto dnech tak moc potřebujeme. Rovněž nám připomíná, že Boží milost a pokoj nás obklopují v každé situaci. Voláme k Němu, nejvyššímu, nejsilnějšímu, nejmilovanějšímu a nejvěrnějšímu v celém vesmíru. On je silnější než nejtemnější temnota, září jasněji než sluneční svit, je větší než naše zápasy, obavy a nejistota z neznámé budoucnosti. On je zde i právě teď, a On je i v naší budoucnosti!
Brzy budeme slavit Velikonoce, nejdůležitější událost v historii, kdy Ježíš svou obětí přinesl spasení, naději a budoucnost celému lidstvu. Kéž Jeho milost a spása, Jeho pokoj a přítomnost naplní naši mysl i srdce a utěší nás v těchto dnech.
Před několika dny jsme šli na krátkou procházku a uprostřed chodníku jsme si všimli krásné křídou nakreslené duhy, kterou očividně nakreslily nějaké děti: „Všechno bude v pořádku!“ Bylo krásné sledovat a cítit atmosféru optimismu a víry v dnešek i zítřek. Naše děti nám ukazují cestu a inspirují nás k tomu, abychom si i my mezi sebou navzájem kreslili krásné pomyslné malby pro povzbuzení k tomu, jít ve víře dál s důvěrou a nadějí.
Uprostřed těchto „bouřlivých dnů“ jsme vám stále velice vděční za vaši lásku a odhodlání věnované našim zranitelným lidem. Děkujeme vám za vaše úsilí, za každou „míli navíc“, kterou jdete, i za velkou zátěž, kterou nyní v těchto zvláštních okolnostech, kdy nás zasáhl korona virus, nesete. Tím dokazujete, že společně jsme silní a bojujeme za naše bratry a sestry a za to, aby světlo překonalo temnotu.
S pokorou a vděčností jsme hrdí na naše kolegy v Armádě spásy, kteří věrně naplňují poslání, i přesto že větry dují a moře se bouří. Díky, skvělá lodní posádko!
Přejeme vám všem příjemné Velikonoce, Boží požehnání a ochranu.

Dear friends and colleagues in all parts of Armáda Spásy,
First of all, we bless you with the greeting from the Bible: „Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ“ (Phil.1:2).
This is a strong, deep and powerful greeting which we so much need these days. This is also a reminder to us that God´s grace and peace embraces us in every situation. We call on Him, the highest, the strongest, the most loving and faithful in the whole universe. He is stronger than the darkest of darkness, shines brighter than the sunshine, greater than our struggles, fears and insecurity for the unknown future. He is here, right now, and he is there in our future!
We will soon celebrate Easter, celebrate the most important happening in history, when Jesus by his sacrifice provided salvation, hope and future for all mankind. Let his grace and salvation, his peace and presence fill our minds and hearts and comfort us these days.
Some days ago we went for a short walk, and in the middle of the walkway we became aware of the beautiful colour chalk drawings of the rainbow, obviously made by some children: “Everything is gonna´ be all right!” It was so wonderful to watch and to feel the atmosphere of optimism and faith in today and tomorrow. Our children show the way and inspire us to virtually draw beautiful drawings to each other as well, for encouragement to move on in trust, faith and hope.
And still, in the “middle of the stormy days,” we are so grateful to you all, for your love and dedication given to our vulnerable people. Thank you for all the efforts you make, the extra miles you go and the extra loads you now have to carry under the special circumstances as we are hit by the Corona. You show that we are a strong unit together, and we fight for our brothers and sisters, for the light to overcome the darkness.
We are proud, we are humble, we are grateful for our group of colleagues in Armáda Spásy, who are faithfully doing the mission, even when the winds blow and the sea is rough. Thank you, wonderful ship crew!
